By accessing or using Intrvuer at intrvuer.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Intrvuer ("we," "our," or "us"). Please read them carefully.

Description of the Service

Intrvuer is an AI-powered interview preparation platform that helps users practice for job interviews. The Service provides:

  • Resume Analysis - Upload your resume (PDF or DOCX) for AI-powered parsing and analysis
  • Interview Practice - Simulated interview sessions with AI-generated questions tailored to your background and target job
  • Quiz Mode - Multiple-choice and text-based quizzes to test your knowledge
  • Voice Interaction - Speak your answers and receive transcribed text
  • AI Feedback - Automated evaluation of your responses with scores and improvement suggestions
  • Progress Tracking - Reports and history of your practice sessions

The Service is designed as an educational and practice tool to help you improve your interview skills.

User Accounts

Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing:

  • A valid email address
  • A password (minimum 8 characters)
  • Your name

Alternatively, you may register using Google or GitHub authentication.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

Account Security

We use industry-standard authentication practices, but you must take reasonable steps to protect your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to protect your credentials.

User Content and Ownership

Your Content

"User Content" includes any content you submit to the Service, including:

  • Resume files and their contents
  • Job descriptions
  • Spoken and written responses during practice sessions
  • Any other information you provide

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. By submitting User Content, you do not transfer ownership to us.

License to Process

By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Send your content to AI providers for analysis, question generation, and feedback
  • Transcribe audio recordings to text
  • Generate and display feedback based on your responses

This license exists solely to enable us to provide the Service and terminates when you delete your content or account.

Content Accuracy

You represent that your User Content:

  • Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Does not contain malicious code or harmful content

Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Illegal Activities

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights

Abuse and Misuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without permission

Harmful Content

  • Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Submit false, misleading, or deceptive content
  • Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, or threatening
  • Submit personally identifiable information of others without consent

Reverse Engineering

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Service
  • Attempt to extract source code or underlying algorithms
  • Copy or replicate the Service's functionality

Unauthorized Commercial Use

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without permission
  • Use the Service to train competing AI models
  • Scrape or harvest data from the Service

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account.

AI Disclaimer and Limitations

Educational Tool Only

IMPORTANT: Intrvuer is an educational practice tool. The Service:

  • Does not guarantee employment outcomes - Practice does not guarantee you will receive a job offer
  • Does not provide professional career advice - AI feedback is automated and should not replace human career counselors
  • May contain errors - AI-generated questions, evaluations, and feedback may be inaccurate
  • Is not a substitute for real interviews - Simulated practice differs from actual interview experiences

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI systems, including:

  • Interview questions
  • Quiz questions
  • Feedback and scores
  • Improvement suggestions

is provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. You should use your own judgment when interpreting AI feedback.

No Representations

We make no representations that:

  • AI feedback accurately reflects how a real interviewer would evaluate you
  • Practice scores predict real interview performance
  • Suggested improvements will lead to better outcomes

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its software, design, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback without compensation or attribution.

Service Availability

No Uptime Guarantee

We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access to the Service
  • Error-free operation
  • Availability at any specific time
  • Data backup or recovery

Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service
  • Change features, pricing, or functionality
  • Impose usage limits or restrictions

Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL
  • SERVICE INTERRUPTION OR DATA LOSS
  • ACTIONS OF THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.

Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages. In such cases, the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Intrvuer and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Deleting your account through the Service
  • Contacting us to request account deletion

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your use poses a security risk
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the Service

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ends immediately
  • Your User Content may be deleted according to our data retention policy
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will remain in effect

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

For material changes, we will:

General Provisions
